Sweater season couldn’t come sooner; seeing as we have been daydreaming with fall knits since Fashion Week this past February. But now that the weather is finally starting to cool down again (“cool” being a relative term), designers are beginning to roll out all of the amazing knits we have been fantasizing about.

Our favorite trends this year feature dramatically oversized silhouettes, fringe accents, turtlenecks, and new interpretations on the cable knit sweater.

We worked together with dancers from the Houston Ballet to create our Closely Knit editorial, giving life to these trends, and offering a little style inspiration for the cozy season to come.

Photography by Ana Lavalle, styling by Jared Burgess, hair and makeup by Studio A Salon.

A very special thanks to the amazing dancers from the Houston Ballet: Mallory Mehaffey, Madeline Skelly and Natalie Varnum.
